VAS (Value Applications Server) is a modular, extensible, carrier-grade application platform for innovative telephony service providers. Due to the uniqueness of the VAS development system, CTMaker® and the Open Applications Manager (CTOAM) interface, there can be an individual VAS platform for every telecommunications service provider. Down to every single end customer (business customers), individual applications (ACD, IVR, voice portal, etc.) can be created. The basic VAS system consists of two carrier-class servers which are available as a black-box. The first server is the VAS Engine. It serves as an application platform with different interfaces and modules. The second is the VAS GUI which serves as the user and administrator interface for the applications. Via a SOAP / XML interface, any custom web user interface can be linked to VAS web services, or an existing VAS web interface can be used.

A SOAP/XML interface is also available to connect external (CRM) systems to the VAS GUI. This results in tremendous flexibility when integrating into existing systems.
