With a proven track record of delivering state-of-the-art technology and unmatched customer support, CTModule has firmly established itself as a leading player in the UCC and Collaboration Applications sector. This interview presents a unique opportunity to gain insights from the company’s leader on what sets CTModule apart from its competitors and what lies ahead for the organization.
How would you describe the overall performance of the company in the past year?
Throughout the past year, the CTModule team has consistently showcased exceptional performance. To strengthen our workforce across multiple departments, we successfully onboarded new talents. We are proud to announce that our efforts have resulted in another year of impressive sales revenue, further solidifying our position as the market leader in the cruise industry, and increased sales in the enterprise market.
What was your most unexpected lesson in 2023?
A key lesson learned is that transitioning on-premise Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) projects to cloud solutions takes longer than expected. The complexities and security challenges of migrating to the cloud are significant hurdles for large-scale enterprises, including healthcare hospitals and public administration entities. This revelation emphasizes the need for careful consideration during technological transitions and highlights the ongoing importance of addressing on-premise communication obstacles with suitable UCC applications.
«Success is not just about reaching the top, but about inspiring others to climb alongside you in pursuit of excellence. Our journey has just begun, and I am honored to steer CTModule towards even greater heights.»
What makes CTModule stand out in the market compared to your competitors?
CTModule stands out in the market compared to our «market companions» because we believe that we do not have direct competitors. Our portfolio includes over 50 UCC applications that fit various industries. The unique concept for tailor-made applications of Callisto sets us apart from others. This makes us highly responsive in meeting and surpassing customer needs, making us the fastest in the industry.
What emerging technologies do you see shaping the future of unified communications, and how is CTModule preparing to leverage them?
Cloud will undoubtedly continue to evolve every day, and new technologies emerge that can offer businesses more secure, reliable, and cost-effective services. At CTModule we understand the importance of keeping operational costs low, which is why we already offer an «as-a-service» pricing model. Furthermore, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is indeed one of the emerging technologies that is shaping the future of unified communications. We recognize the significance of AI in unified communications and are actively preparing to leverage its capabilities. Additionally, integration and interoperability with leading providers like Cisco and Microsoft are crucial aspects of our strategy. By embracing emerging technologies like AI and prioritizing integration with industry-leading UCC providers, CTModule is well-positioned to drive the future of unified communications and deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses across various industries.
What’s next for CTModule?
The future of CTModule holds promising advancements and developments on multiple fronts. Firstly, we are excited about the strategic partnership with NEC and the new interoperability with NEC 3C PBX, expanding our capabilities and offering seamless communication solutions to additional verticals. Furthermore, strengthening our partnership with Cisco is of utmost importance. We aim to provide a comprehensive communication infrastructure that is reliable, secure, and scalable in the cruise, hospitality, and enterprise sectors. Another area of focus for CTModule is finalizing the integration with Microsoft Teams. In addition to these collaborations, we are committed to developing new applications that cater specifically to industries like healthcare and hospitality. By delivering industry-specific applications, we can provide tailored solutions that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and improve customer experiences within these domains.
What is the vision for CTModule’s future?
Due to the decreasing investments in UCC, companies are now focusing on investing in specific technologies for hybrid working. As a result, our top priority will be research and development to regularly introduce innovative features and functionalities that meet the evolving needs of businesses. In the future, a significant driver will be the cloud business, where we aim to establish a strong presence among Cisco and Microsoft clients. We intend to offer our partners the Callisto platform for their cloud services, whether within their environments or as a SaaS solution.
Overall, CTModule’s future vision revolves around continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration with its partners to deliver cutting-edge communication applications and enhance the Callisto Platform to support the changing needs of businesses in the hybrid work and cloud era.
