Callisto BabyPhone – Your best choice

Offer extra service

Offer guests something more than the competitor and support parents with the BabyPhone service to be able to enjoy a carefree evening.

Simple introduction

The fast and simple set-up of the Callisto BabyPhone module and the easy distribution of the BabyPhone smartphone app through the Mobile Device Management (MDM) system facilitates introducing the offer to parents.

Efficient processes

The well-designed, efficient processes for issuing BabyPhone mobile phones through the reception and for parents to activate the BabyPhone service have made the service very popular with staff and users.

Vacations for you and your baby

Unforgettable vacations are closely related to the experiences. Therefore, give active parents the additional freedom for adventures with the Callisto BabyPhone service. And this is how it works:

  1. Cruise: Issue of a mobile phone accessible from the local telephony system to the parents, preferably a smartphone with the Callisto BabyPhone Mobile application.
Hotel: Registration of parents’ mobile phone in Callisto BabyPhone (may generate external costs) or issuance of a mobile phone accessible from the local telephony system to the parents, preferably a smartphone with the Callisto BabyPhone Mobile application.
  2. Without BabyPhone Mobile app: The parents dial the Callisto BabyPhone number from the room phone, enter the call number of the mobile phone received, place the handset near the baby and quickly leave the room.
With BabyPhone Mobile app: Parents start monitoring in the BabyPhone Mobile app, answer the call that has now been started on the room telephone, place the handset as close to the baby as possible, and quickly leave the room.
  3. The room monitoring is now active, and parents have a pre-configured time (which the administrator can flexibly change) for leaving the room. As soon as the level of the set acoustic threshold in the room exceeds, BabyPhone calls the parents’ mobile phone, who can now listen directly into the room (optionally with video).
  4. If parents would like to listen to the room briefly, they can do so with the mobile phone or BabyPhone app. The baby will not be disturbed by the ringing of the phone.
  5. The BabyPhone service can be terminated by hanging up the handset on the room telephone or through the BabyPhone app.

As long as the parents do not receive a call on the BabyPhone mobile phone, they can fully enjoy their evening thanks to BabyPhone.

Safe operation is essential

A baby monitoring app must properly work and be safe. That is why Callisto BabyPhone also provides additional security checks. For example, the BabyPhone mobile app constantly monitors the WLAN connection. An acoustic alarm with visual indication is triggered as soon as the connection is interrupted. If Callisto cannot reach a mobile phone in the event of an alarm, attempts are made until the call is answered. If the monitoring connection between the room and Callisto is disconnected for any reason, parents will receive a notification that the service has been deactivated. Additional checks and alerting actions make Callisto BabyPhone one of the safest BabyPhone applications on the market.

Save reporting

If ever a guest contacts the front desk with a specific question, detailed BabyPhone reporting is available to the staff. Every single action that has been performed for each monitoring is recorded in the reporting. The following entries are visible:

  • the executing call number
  • the action itself
  • the time of the action
  • the result of the action
  • the room number

With this information, each step of the monitoring can be traced and any open points of the guest can be resolved.
