Challenge
POST Telecom creates customized solutions for customers with special requirements. The challenge is that tailor-made solutions are often in direct conflict with the required market price. In addition, multilingualism in the telecom business is an important factor for the Luxembourgish clientele. For POST Telecom it is therefore extremely important to keep the costs of the solution calculable and as low as possible throughout the entire supply chain. In order to be able to offer all the required services to its demanding customers from a wide range of industrial and service sectors, POST Telecom therefore needed a strong, trustworthy, cost-conscious and flexible technology partner.
Solution
When a corporate customer replaces his existing telephone infrastructure, he wants to buy added value with his new solution. He assumes that the new solution will fulfill the existing services that have covered his needs for years. This made it all the more important for POST Telecom to be able to provide an answer with its managed services offering not only to new customer needs, but also to important existing ones. This is exactly the answer it found in CTModule’s Callisto platform.
On the Callisto platform, the desired solution – a selection of 50 modules – is available right from the start. The end customer thus has exactly what he needs – no more and no less. The definitive answer to all additional individual customer requirements is Callisto’s “Open Applications Management” concept: With CTModule’s own development system, customer-specific solutions can be added to the Callisto platform in the shortest possible time and at runtime. Enterprise customers thus benefit from a tailor-made solution at an attractive price. This was the decisive point for the success of this solution in many POST Luxembourg customer projects.
Success
Based on Callisto’s “Open Applications Management” concept, CTModule has already developed numerous individual, customized applications on behalf of POST Telecom for very specific requirements. POST Telecom was able to convince its customers with an exact, tailor-made product in each case – completely according to their wishes. Requirements come from a wide variety of areas: Call centers, operator stations, services, billing systems, alarm systems, hotel management and many more.
The system rented by the customer from POST-Telecom-Service should appear to him as if it were all of a piece. This strengthens POST Telecom’s competence image to the customer. Callisto is therefore offered by POST Telecom as an OEM product under its own label, with PTL’s own web interface. Numerous Unified Communications Manager configurations or settings on the end device can be made via Callisto’s interfaces. The all-in-one concept of the Callisto platform therefore makes it possible for POST Telecom to offer its customers a complete service from a single source, making it easier for them to decide to outsource their communications infrastructure.
In addition, by integrating the mobile network into the POST infrastructure, a highly professional FMC solution could be developed specifically for the Luxembourg market. This solution supports additional functions on the mobile device, without additional clients, up to the integration into the COC operator solution.
